Reviewing and Updating Planning & Development Regulations, UDA
The Urban Development Authority (UDA) has recognized the need to amend the Planning and Development Regulations established on July 8, 2021, under Gazette Notification No. 2235/54. This amendment aims to ensure that the regulations effectively address current and emerging challenges in urban planning and development.
We invite the general public to provide comments on any proposed amendments or new proposals that could enhance the effectiveness of these regulations.

Invitation for Public Comments
As per the provisions set out in the Section 8D of the Urban Development Authority Amendment Act No. 04 of 1982, UDA shall allow local authorities and public to provide comments, observations, or submit proposals for a draft development plan prepared by the authority.
